GET TO KNOW THE MOUNTAINS
The rear Schnals valley from Kurzras is very much suited for extensive, gentle, as well as challenging, hiking tours. The beautiful world of mountains with its typical rock colour of deep green, the sparkling glaciers and the numerous watercourses will surprise you. The Alpin Verein South Tyrol new climbing garden at Marchegghof /Kurzras offers you sheer climbing enjoyment. It offers various levels of difficulty and can be used free of charge.SUMMER TIME SKIING ON THE SCHNALS VALLEY GLACIER
The lifts remain open in summer from 7.30am to 1pm. The length and number of pistes depends on the weather. Altogether there are 8km of prepared pistes in summer for skiers. The cable car and 3 lifts quickly bring snow-hungry skiers up to where they can enjoy the snow. The features of the ski slopes range from gentle gliding downhill for beginners to challenging downhill runs:
